About Dr Konrad Grosser

Personal Profile

As a senior Consultant Cardiologist and Holistic Health clinician my aim is to support you to regain and maintain your health.

I aim to get to the root cause of your symptoms and may have to use advanced  diagnostics to do so. These tests can be cardiac specific investigations such as coronary angiography, cardiac CT scanning or prolonged rhythm monitoring.

However, as part of my holistic approach I will also assess your bioenergetics, digestion, immune function, hormone/ endocrine and metabolic function to identify their role/contribution regarding your symptoms.

Generally speaking I prioritise lifestyle interventions such as nutrition or exercise above pharmaceutical drug interventions to restore health rather than just treat the symptoms. These lifestyle medicine interventions are successful in the majority of patients with diabetes, hypertension or abnormal cholesterol profiles. However, where right and appropriate medications will also be used.

I will help you to find a strategy to address your symptoms with the aim to rebalance you health.

We will work together and develop your personalised future health and screening plan regarding longevity, cancer preventions, early cancer detection, heart health, metabolic health (e.g. how to reverse diabetes), nutrition, exercise, stress management and mental wellbeing.

Our collaboration will be based on openness, transparency, trust and empathy - hence I may have to tell you uncomfortable truths.

For further information please see www.kentcardio.com [kentcardio.com] or call my PA Theresa on 0333 444 1844.

I look forward seeing you in my practice at Canterbury or online wherever you are.

Clinical Interests

My main interest is your health, wellbeing and longevity.

I will be supporting you to achieve your health aims, manage your symptoms and identify options how to improve your health and live a long healthy life by applying a systems biology approach.

I became a consultant cardiologist in 2004. I trained in Germany, USA, Switzerland, UK, France and Holland. My subspecialty is complex coronary intervention, but I provide the full spectrum of investigations and treatments as is typical for my generation and as such am able to offer cardiac CT scans, Cardiac Echoes, pacemaker implantations and I also deal with all arrhythmias and heart failure.

Over the last few years I significantly enhanced and expanded my qualifications and undertook additional training with the Institute for Functional Medicine (IFM.org [ifm.org]). This allows me to extend my field beyond cardiology delivering 21st century, data driven, AI supported holistic care.

Please have a look for yourself in this short video (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sKja4-M0ozc [youtube.com]).

I look forward meeting you soon.
