About Kamran Malik
Personal Profile
Mr Kamran Malik is a Consultant General and Colorectal Surgeon at Northampton General Hospital NHS Trust. He specialises in the management of colorectal conditions and has a particular interest in minimally invasive surgery, including laparoscopic and robotic techniques.
Mr Malik graduated from Rawalpindi Medical College, Pakistan, in 2003 and completed his initial surgical training in Pakistan. He was awarded the Fellowship of the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Pakistan (FCPS) in 2009 before moving to the United Kingdom to continue his higher surgical training in the North West of England.
Following completion of his specialist training, Mr Malik undertook fellowship training in minimally invasive surgery (MIS) and advanced rectal cancer surgery at Queen Elizabeth Hospital, part of University Hospitals Birmingham. During this time, he further developed his expertise in colorectal surgery and gained additional experience in the management of complex hernia repairs.
