Mr Jean-Brice Rodriguez has been a Consultant in Obstetrics and Gynaecology since 2009. He specialises in general gynaecological care, with a particular interest in laparoscopic surgery. His surgical expertise includes laparoscopic hysterectomy, ovarian cyst surgery, treatment of endometriosis, and procedures for pelvic organ prolapse. He performs both vaginal and laparoscopic prolapse surgery, including vaginal prolapse repairs and laparoscopic sacrocolpopexy.
In addition to surgical care, Mr Rodriguez provides medical management for conditions such as heavy menstrual bleeding, endometriosis, and pelvic organ prolapse.
Mr Rodriguez completed his medical degree (MD) in France in 1999. He subsequently undertook specialist training in Obstetrics and Gynaecology within the Yorkshire Deanery in the United Kingdom, achieving Membership of the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists (MRCOG) in 2005. He currently works as a Consultant Gynaecologist at Calderdale and Huddersfield NHS Foundation Trust.
During his specialist training, Mr Rodriguez completed a fellowship in laparoscopic gynaecological surgery at the internationally renowned IRCAD Centre in Strasbourg, France. He also obtained a university diploma in urogynaecology and the management of pelvic organ prolapse.
Since completing his training, he has continued to develop his expertise in benign laparoscopic gynaecological surgery, including procedures such as laparoscopic hysterectomy and ovarian cystectomy, as well as the medical and surgical management of endometriosis.
Mr Rodriguez is an active member of the European Society of Gynaecological Endoscopy and MIS Academy (Dubai). He is also a faculty member at IRCAD, where he regularly teaches laparoscopic surgery courses to international delegates.
