Patient testimonial

" As a retired GP and as someone who spend some time in orthopaedics as a junior doctor , I could not have been more impressed by the excellent standard of care I have received for a total knee replacement from James Lewis.
The care starts well before surgery with sound advice in one’s preparation for the operation, detailing exercise and nutrition and a detailed account of what to expect and what surgery involves. Approaching a major operation with confidence and a belief in a positive outcome helped me significantly. The care taken to minimise the risk of infection also boosted my confidence.
Having easy access to James and his secretary was also outstanding.
The pioneering work he has done with the Conformis knee implant and his no hammer, no tourniquet surgical technique is truly amazing. No detail is too small and this applies as much to his post operative care as to all that’s gone before.
I am extremely grateful for all the care and attention that I have received and I am delighted with the result."
