Mr Fox has been a Consultant Trauma and Orthopaedic Surgeon at the Royal Hampshire County Hospital in Winchester since 1999. He was appointed as a lower limb surgeon with a specialist interest in all types of knee surgery. He is a highly experienced and popular knee surgeon, having been established for over 20 years. He has retired from NHS practice but continues with a busy private practice in Winchester.

Mr Fox undertook his undergraduate medical training in Bristol and basic surgical training in Plymouth. He was both Registrar and Senior Registrar on the Birmingham Orthopaedic Training Programme where he gained extensive experience in the management of elective and traumatic orthopaedic conditions -  specialising in the later years of his training in lower limb and knee surgery in particular. His final training was on a one year International Knee Fellowship in Brisbane, Australia where he developed his interest in sports related injuries treating recreational, representative and elite athletes.

Mr Fox welcomes referrals for all knee conditions and forms of knee arthroplasty, including unicompartmental and minimally invasive procedures.
