About Miss Hannah Wilkins

Personal Profile

Hannah qualified in 2011 with an honours degree in Physiotherapy from Glasgow Caledonian University. She started her career in the NHS in Dumfries, before going on to spend a year working as a rehabilitation instructor and physiotherapist with the British Army. Since then, she has been working in both inpatients and outpatients within Circle Health Group. She now specialises in outpatient musculoskeletal physiotherapy and rehabilitation with a particular interest in hand therapy. 

Hannah has also worked in a variety of sports settings, providing support to athletes from disciplines including athletics, football, rugby, netball and shinty. Hannah’s post-graduate training has included specialist hip, shoulder and tendon pain courses, hand therapy, shockwave and acupuncture. She has also been trained in gait analysis and biomechanics with Footscan providing customised insoles using the Phits system. 

Outside work, Hannah keeps active with hill walking, the gym and running. She enjoys being outside, travelling and cooking, as well as watching a wide variety of sports. Her favourite way to relax is a big mug of tea and a good book!
