About Dushyant Maradia

Personal Profile

Dr Maradia qualified from Iuliu Hațieganu University of Medicine and Pharmacy in Romania, where he trained in general cardiology and non-invasive cardiac imaging. He later specialised in advanced echocardiography through a high volume and a complex workload in the echocardiography department in North Middlesex University Hospital (NMUH).

Dr Maradia was appointed as a Consultant Cardiologist at NMUH in 2016. He is an experienced clinician in acute cardiology and is currently developing an acute cardiology service at NMUH Accident and Emergency department. He also runs a special valve clinic at NMUH.

Dr Maradia regularly delivers teaching to consultant colleagues of other specialties and to junior doctors, including visiting doctors from developing countries.

He is actively involved with charitable bodies such as the ‘Heart Valve Voice’ to help raise awareness of heart valve disease.
