About David Golding-Wood

Personal Profile

Mr Golding-Wood was appointed as a Consultant in ENT surgery to Bromley Hospitals in 1995 with a special interest in diseases of the ear and day case surgery.  He had a general training in all aspects of ENT surgery with emphasis on ear disease including a fellowship in Neuro-otology in Michigan.  He has since concentrated his interests on ear and nose disorders as a consultant together with snoring management and paediatric ENT.  He works closely with local audiologists and vestibular physiotherapists for optimal benefit to patients when required.

He provided a dedicated ear clinic in the local trust for almost 25 years. He was the clinical lead for ENT Surgery in the local trust 2007-2013 and Medical Advisory Committee chairman at Chelsfield Park 2004-2006.

Mr Golding-Wood has multiple publications on problems related to ear disease, balance upset, rhinitis, facial pain and snoring.  He has been a faculty member and tutor on several temporal bone courses.

He now has an exclusive private practice based at Chelsfield Park Hospital having retired from the NHS in 2019. He provides a service that remains centred on problems affecting the ear, nose and paediatric ENT with particular expertise in coblation tonsillectomy.

Mr Golding-Wood is married with 3 children and 2 grandchildren and remains a keen golfer.
