Mr McKiernan undertook subspecialist training in centres of excellence in the UK, mainland Europe and the United States and provides a regional service in rhinology (septal, sinus and rhinoplasty surgery and the non surgical management of nasal conditions). He also corrects prominent ears and performs the full range of rejuvenative facial surgery. He is married with two children and has a wide range of interests which include playing tennis badly.
