Mr Daniel Patterson is a Consultant Medical Oncologist at West Suffolk NHS Foundation trust. Mr Patterson undertook his training in London and has significant experience of both thoracic and gastrointestinal malignancies.

Dan is an experienced oncologist having been trained on the prestigious North London SpR rotation and became a consultant in 2009.

Dan can offer expertise in the systemic management of thoracic and gastrointestinal malignancies (Lung, mesothelioma, oesohago-gastric, colorectal and neuroendocrine tumours). 

Dan also has specialist interests in Cancer Unknown primary, acute oncology and immunotherapy. With a strong advocate for shared decision making in the clinic and providing a balanced overview of treatment options based on the evidence available, Dan is actively involved in clinical research and enjoys teaching regularly.

Outside of work, Dan enjoys spending time with his family and watching football.
