Dr. Bharati Vyawahare is a consultant in pain medicine. 

She completed UK specialist anaesthetic training and Pain Medicine fellowship in North East England. She is working as Consultant in Pain Medicine at Manchester Foundation NHS Trust based at Wythenshawe Hospital which is a busy teaching University Hospital. She runs weekly pelvic pain multidisciplinary clinics at Wythenshawe. Her special interest is in treating pelvic pain, neuropathic pain, back pain, fibromyalgia, complex regional pain syndrome and post surgical neuropathic pain. She treats wide range of adult female and male pelvic pain conditions including mesh complications, vulvodynia, pudendal neuropathy, endometriosis, bladder pain syndrome, rectal pain, penile and testicular pain, proctalgia,  prostatitis. 

X-ray guided procedures offered: Diagnostic medial branch block and facet denervation, caudal and lumbar epidural, nerve root injection, coccyx injection, sacroiliac joint injection, hip joint injection, ganglion impar block, lumbar sympathectomy, radiofrequency denervation and pulse radio frequency. 

Ultrasound guided procedures offered: pudendal nerve block, obturator nerve block, ilioinguinal, genito-femoral nerve block and spermatic cord injection, Piriformis injection, Lateral Femoral Cutaneous Nerve Block, ACNES block 

Dr Vyawahare is activley involved in undergraduate medical teaching and is an examiner at Manchester University. She is local  pain medicine educational  supervisor for specialty trainees in North West region. 

Dr Vyawahare is on Pelvic Pain Committee panel at European Association of Urology (UroWeb.org) and actively contributing on guidelines.
