Dr Ashish Dhawan is a Consultant Cardiologist and Cardiac Electrophysiologist at Beaumont Hospital in Bolton.
He trained in the North Western Deanery as a Specialist Registrar in Cardiology. He rotated across different hospitals in the region, including:
- South Manchester University Hospital (Wythenshawe)
- Central Manchester University Hospitals (Manchester Royal Infirmary)
- Blackpool Victoria Hospital
This was in order to complete his general cardiology training and sub-specialty training in 'Interventional Cardiac Electrophysiology and devices'.
Dr Dhawan routinely performs interventional electrophysiology procedures and implant biventricular pacing and intra-cardiac defibrillators. He is also a keen teacher who is dedicated to the education and training of junior doctors.
