Her practice encompasses all conditions that may affect the nose and sinuses, including allergy, sinusitis, blocked nose, broken nose and cosmetic concerns affecting the nose. She also treats patients who may require revision rhinoplasty and sinus surgery. She is a member of the British Rhinologic Society and the British Society of Facial Plastics surgery. She is also a council member for the British Rhinological society and the North of England ENT society. She graduated from the University of Leeds in 2001. She stayed on in Yorkshire to complete her early surgical training, moving to Manchester for her higher surgical ENT training. She became a fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons, England, in 2013 and completed her specialist surgical training in 2015. She simultaneously completed a post-graduate research degree at the University of Manchester, looking at improving patients’ health related quality of life. She has published many papers and presented her research at national and international meetings.
Patient centred care and high-quality surgical outcomes sit at the heart of her practice. To advance her expertise and sub-specialist Rhinology practice, she spent a year on the prestigious Rhinology and Facial plastic surgery Fellowship at Guys and St Thomas’s Hospital in London. She then moved to Canada in 2017 to undertake the American Rhinology Society Fellowship at the University of Alberta, in Endoscopic sinus surgery and Anterior Skull base surgery. She has a passion for both undergraduate and postgraduate teaching with educational roles at the University of Manchester and Health Education Northwest. She teaches as faculty on several Rhinology and Facial Plastics surgery courses. She provides pastoral care for the ENT trainee doctors at the Manchester Royal Infirmary in her capacity as clinical lead for junior doctors and co-chairs the Manchester Rhinology Fellowship program.
She places great importance on making her patients feel comfortable and valued during their treatment journey, fully involving them in the decision-making process.
