About Mr Aprajay Golash

Personal Profile

Mr Golash received his neurosurgical training in Leeds, London, Manchester and Liverpool before becoming a Consultant Neurosurgeon in Preston in the year 2000.

Mr Golash is passionate about surgical education and training future neurosurgeons. His roles extend from examining the intercollegiate Neurosurgical Fellowship exam (FRCS SN) to previously being the Chair of Education Committee of British Association of Spinal Surgeons. He is currently piloting use of Virtual and Mixed reality in medical education and treatment.

Mr Golash is currently Chair of regional spine network and secretary of British Association of Spinal Surgeons.

He enjoys outdoor activities and gardening. He loves playing badminton.

Mr Golash's special interests include spinal conditions (lumbar and cervical disc problems, spinal stenosis, etc.), trigeminal neuralgia and endoscopic brain surgery including pituitary tumours.
