About Mr Anton Krekoor

Personal Profile

Anton is a physiotherapist with a strong academic background, holding a First-Class Honours degree in Sport and Exercise Science and a master's degree in Physiotherapy. He gained his early clinical experience through junior rotations at the Alexandra Hospital, where he developed a broad range of skills across multiple specialties.

He specialises in musculoskeletal (MSK) outpatient services and his interest in this area is supported by a background in sport, including years of participation at academy level in football and representation at county level in hockey. These experiences contribute to his understanding of injury management, rehabilitation, and physical performance. In addition to his MSK role, Anton runs an outpatient respiratory clinic in collaboration with respiratory specialist consultants.

He manages a varied caseload, including both the general population and elite athletes, and works as part of a multidisciplinary team. Anton’s treatment approach is centred on exercise-based rehabilitation, with a focus on achieving positive long-term outcomes. He adopts a holistic approach to care, drawing on his experience across both musculoskeletal and respiratory practice to support individuals in improving function and returning to their usual activities.
