About Mr Amit Amit
Personal Profile
Mr Amit Amit is a highly experienced consultant in the field of neurosurgery and spinal surgery. Mr Amit received extensive training during his education in India, America and the UK.
Since 2013 Mr Amit has worked largely in spinal work, however, his range of specialties includes, but is not limited to, orthopaedic surgery, pain management, neurosurgery, and neurology.
Mr Amit began his training in neurosurgery and spinal surgery in India, and then moved to London where he trained at the Royal Free Hospital. After this, he continued his neurosurgical and spinal training in Frenchay Hospital in Bristol and completed his training in Royal Victoria Hospital in Belfast. After his studies in the UK, he completed a two-year clinical fellowship in Ohio.
After completing his training and fellowship, Mr Amit returned to the UK and gained further experience at Aberdeen Royal Infirmary and University Hospital Coventry and Warwickshire.
In addition to his NHS work, Mr Amit practises privately at Three Shires Hospital, Northampton, and The Manor Hospital, Bedford, and also works with the Central England Neurosurgery service. He sees both self-pay and insured patients, offering expert care for patients requiring specialist spinal and neurosurgical assessment and treatment.
Mr Amit is a member of the British Association of Spine Surgeons (BASS), Eurospine and the Symposium of British Neurosurgeons. He has dedicated many years to researching spinal disorders and spinal surgery.
