He is currently a Consultant Dermatologist at London North West University Healthcare NHS Trust (Ealing Hospital site) and is the Lead of the Paediatric Dermatology service for Ealing, Northwick Park and Central Middlesex Hospitals. He sees adult and paediatric patients.
Dr Gradassi undertook his medical training at the University of Florence Medical School where he gained his MD with honours. He trained at the School of Dermatology and Venereal Diseases of Bologna, renowned as the most prestigious in Italy, 2014-2019. In 2018, he undertook a one-year fellowship at Chelsea and Westminster Hospital.
At Ealing Hospital, Dr Gradassi runs the Paediatric Dermatology service for the Trust and offers training opportunities for this subspecialty to GPs and Dermatology trainees.
He is also responsible for the Biologic and Systemic clinic for patients with complex medical dermatology conditions such as severe psoriasis, eczema, urticaria and hidradenitis suppurativa.
Dr Gradassi is passionate about dermoscopy and skillfully uses it for a state-of-the-art mole mapping.
Its use in the evaluation of hair disorders (trichoscopy) is superior to histology examination and, when dealing with nail problems (onychoscopy) is incredibly helpful to avoid painful biopsies.
Dr Gradassi performs dermatological surgery such as excisions, skin biopsies and removal of skin tags.
His European Specialist Training Certification includes Venereology which adds to his experience in treating genital skin disorders and sexually transmitted diseases.
