As an experienced, fully accredited plastic and reconstructive surgeon, he is on the Specialist Register of the General Medical Council (GMC) for plastic surgery and is a full member of the British Association of Aesthetic Plastic Surgeons (BAAPS).
Mr Sawyer’s undergraduate training was undertaken at Guys & St Thomas’s Hospital in London, having intercalated with a BSc first class in Physiology. He qualified in 1999 and trained as a plastic surgeon undertaking postgraduate training in London, Oxford and Salisbury.
Mr Sawyer completed an MSc in surgical science at Imperial College London and a medical law degree from De Montfort Law School in 2007.
Mr Adam Sawyer was awarded the FRCS (Plast) in 2014 and became a Fellow of the European board of plastic, reconstructive and aesthetic plastic surgeons (FEBOPRAS) in 2015.
He also spent time on fellowship at Addenbrookes Hospital Cambridge, with overseas fellowships in Oslo, Dallas, Texas & Toronto.
