Dr Ibrahim trained at Bart’s and the London Medical school completing her medical training in 2008. She has had vast hospital experience in a variety of specialities including General surgery, Paediatrics, ENT, Obstetrics and Gynaecology, Orthopaedics, Psychiatry and Elderly care medicine. She completed her GP training in 2013 and has been working in both NHS General practice in North West London as well as private practice since then.
Dr Ibrahim has a passion for clinical excellence and patient safety and works as a GP specialist advisor for the Care Quality Commission (CQC) and as a GP appraiser for NHS England to ensure excellent standards of clinical care are met nationally. She is also a nationally elected council member for the Royal College of General Practitioners where she can advocate for issues affecting primary care.
She understands that a patient’s story is key to diagnosis and takes time to ensure patients feel heard and understood. She prides herself in working collaboratively with patients to ensure that the care she provides is holistic, evidence based and tailored to each individual and that they are well informed throughout. She is particularly interested in Lifestyle and preventative medicine and supporting patients to make the changes needed to promote their health and wellbeing to avoid disease.
She enjoys being a family doctor and feels privileged to be part of a patient’s health journey, providing support and reassurance when they need it the most.
