Mr Abdul Qadir's clinical practice encompasses all aspects of general & gastrointestinal surgery with a special interest in upper gastrointestinal malignancies, gastrointestinal reflux disease, gall stone disease, hernia surgery and minimally invasive surgery.
He graduated from the University of Punjab and completed his higher surgical training in Aberdeen in 1998. Abdul undertook a period of research at the Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Centre, Boston MA a renowned centre for research in sepsis and nutrition.
Abdul's surgical fellowship was at Prince of Wales Hospital, Chinese University of Hong Kong, an internationally renowned centre for minimally invasive surgery, surgery for upper GI malignancies and advanced gastrointestinal endoscopy.
