Dr Abdul Nassimizadeh is a Consultant Ear, Nose and Throat (ENT) Surgeon specialising in rhinology and facial plastic surgery. He is a Fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons (FRCS ORL-HNS) and practises across Birmingham and Bicester.
Dr Nassimizadeh grew up in Birmingham and completed his undergraduate medical degree at the University of Birmingham, where he received multiple academic prizes. He undertook postgraduate ENT training in the West Midlands before developing subspecialist expertise in rhinology. As part of his advanced training, he travelled internationally to further his clinical and surgical experience, including periods in Italy, South Korea, and the United States.
He has also completed medical licensing requirements in the US, as well as a fellowship focusing on cosmetic facial plastic surgery in Los Angeles, California.
His current clinical practice focuses on disorders of the nose, and facial plastics, including nasal obstruction, functional and aesthetic nasal surgery, as well as all cosmetic facial surgery.
Alongside his NHS role, Dr Nassimizadeh is involved in innovation and service development as a Clinical Entrepreneur Fellow within the NHS.
Dr Nassimizadeh has an extensive academic portfolio, with publications in peer-reviewed journals, contributions to textbooks, and involvement in international clinical guidelines.
He is actively engaged in medical education as a Clinical Tutor at the University of Birmingham, contributing to the training of undergraduate and postgraduate doctors, and has received his PhD from the University of Groningen, Holland.
