Online booking terms and conditions

Terms of contract

Please read these online booking terms and conditions carefully. These terms cover services Circle Health Group provides or are arranged by Circle Health Group on behalf of Consultants who practise at Circle Health Group, and are booked online.

Please read these terms alongside our private patient terms and conditions, patient and health assessment clients privacy notice and website privacy notice; any defined terms in the private patient terms and conditions shall have the same meaning when used in these terms.

These terms are incorporated into the private patient terms and conditions and, along with the patient and health assessment clients privacy notice, website privacy notice and declaration below, form part of the contract for patients who book online.  If these terms conflict or contradict with the private patient terms and conditions, then these terms shall take precedence.

Circle Health Group may update these terms and conditions from time to time, however, changes will only apply to any new appointment and you will be asked to agree to any new terms before they become effective.

Booking

Circle Health Group's online booking service relates to your initial outpatient consultation with a Consultant. Any follow-up appointments will need to be arranged with a medical secretary for an appointment with your Consultant.

You must be 18 years of age or older and only be booking an appointment for yourself, not on behalf of anyone else.

IMPORTANT PLEASE READ

Whether or not employed by Circle Health Group, Consultants involved in your care are independent practitioners. Accordingly, Circle Health Group will not be liable for any act or omission of a Consultant; the Consultant will be responsible for the care he or she provides you.

Paying for your own treatment

If you are paying for your own treatment, the price will be displayed once you have selected an appointment date and time. By booking an appointment, you agree to pay the fee shown.

In the case of appointments with Consultants, payment for the initial consultation is arranged directly with the Consultant. This is usually payable after the consultation has taken place.

Using private medical insurance

If you are booking an appointment using private medical insurance, you will need your insurance membership number and authorisation code for treatment to complete the booking. Please contact your insurer directly if you have any questions. You can check our list of insurers here in advance to make sure you can book online.

Please note, as a privately insured patient it is your responsibility to check the level of cover and confirm with your insurer or sponsor that your treatment at Circle Health Group is covered by your policy. This includes any additions to your treatment such as blood tests and imaging, equipment or medication provided during an outpatient consultation. If any part of the treatment is not covered under your insurance policy, you will be required to pay for it.

If you receive any treatment during an outpatient consultation, insofar as this is not covered by your insurer or sponsor, you will be sent separate invoices from both the treating Consultant and Circle Health Group.

Cooling off period

If you book within 14 days of the date of your appointment then you agree to waive the benefit of the standard 14 day 'cooling off period' where you would otherwise be entitled to cancel and receive a full refund of any appointment fees paid.

Cancellation

Please contact Circle Heath Group's booking team as soon as possible if you need to cancel or rearrange your appointment.

Cancellation within 24 hours of your appointment may result in a fee from the Consultant you booked with. Such cancellation terms for your consultant will be contained in your Consultant Treatment Letter sent to you beforehand.
