Your Initial Assessment

Your appointment with Selina Saunders, Musculoskeletal Clinical Specialist, will include:

• Discussion of your symptoms and medical history
• Physical and neurological examination
• Assessment of how your condition affects daily life
• A chance to ask questions and discuss your concerns
• Advice on next steps and treatment options

Please bring a list of current medications, relevant medical history, and details of any previous scans or treatments if available.

If further investigation is required

• If further investigation is recommended, this will be discussed during your assessment. 
• Where appropriate, same-day MRI scan might be available. Please note that patients requiring an MRI scan are subject to safety screening.
• If MRI is not suitable for your circumstances, alternative imaging options can be discussed.

Follow-up appointment

• Once your scan results are available, you will attend a follow-up appointment to discuss the findings and recommended treatment plan.
