Private GP Services at the Meriden Hospital provides high quality and consistent private medical care The service is offered within a modern, fully equipped hospital, allowing for quick access to specialised diagnostics such as blood tests, X-rays, Ultra-sound, CT and MRI.

The Clinic can offer quick referrals so that patients can swiftly progress into treatment, which is crucial with serious conditions. Test results are usually available within 48 hours. A smooth transition to wider healthcare services, as well as specialist care and facilities will provide additional reassurance in times of illness or anxiety.
There is a Pharmacy Department within the hospital so if you are given a prescription then it can simply be collected after your appointment; and if you need it, your Private GP can make onward referrals to consultants and specialists within the hospital.

Meriden Hospital’s private GP services are offered within a modern, fully equipped hospital allowing fast access to specialised diagnostics like blood tests, X-rays and scans.
Additionally, the private GP service also offer specialist health assessments carried out by the GP. Health assessments provide you with an excellent opportunity to understand your health. Also known as a health check, it is a thorough check-up of your overall health. Health checks are performed to help you gain a better understanding of your physical and mental wellbeing. After your health assessment you will receive advice based on your personalised consultation and results. This will include recommendations on the lifestyle changes you can make to improve your health and well-being. If needed, you will have quick access to further diagnostic tests and treatment.
PLEASE NOTE: Meriden Hospital does not have paediatric facilities, therefore we cannot accept any appointments for those under 18 years of age.
Access to high quality diagnostics on-site and quick referrals mean that patients can progress with treatment as soon as possible, which can be crucial when serious conditions are found. 15 minute (Follow-up appointments): £75 per appointment
60 minute (Health Assessments) - £200 per appointment
Charges for your private GP appointment will be payable on the day of your appointment using any debit card or major credit card. If your GP recommends that you have additional tests or investigations, please remember that these will be discussed with you and charged in addition to the fees above. Payment will be taken at the hospital reception.

If you are paying for yourself, we can usually offer an upfront cost which you can then choose to pay in full or access one of our easy payment options.
