Private GP appointments available in central Lincoln when you need them.

Our General Practitioner can provide services if you are finding it hard to book an appointment with your regular GP, are in need of a second opinion, or would like more time to discuss your health concerns in a longer appointment.

Our new Private GP service is provided within Lincoln Private Hospital, enabling fast access to on-site diagnostics; including blood tests, x-rays and scans and quick onward referral to consultants and specialists at the hospital if necessary.

You will be seen by one of our fantastic GP's; either Dr Caroline Wardman or Dr Sally Nicholson.

How much does a private GP cost?

New private appointments are £130.00 for a standard 30 minute consultation. Longer appointments are available on request.

All diagnostic investigations, tests and any treatment or procedures will be at an additional cost, with pricing available at your appointment.

Am I covered by my Private Medical Insurance?

GP appointments are unlikely to be covered by your private medical insurance, further tests, investigations and onward referrals following on from your initial GP appointment may be covered, you would need to speak with your insurance company to confirm this.

What happens if i need to be referred to a consultant or I require further tests?

If you need to be referred to a consultant or require further investigations (blood tests, X-rays, ultrasound or MRI scan) you are not obliged to use Lincoln Private Hospital services.

Should you wish to continue your care under your NHS GP, with your consent, a letter will be sent to them outlining our recommendations for any further investigations or referral to a consultant of their choice.

If you choose to continue your treatment at Lincoln Private Hospital, in most cases investigations can be carried out either on that day or within 72 hours, and you can usually see a consultant within a few days of your appointment.
