A health assessment, also known as a health check, is a thorough check-up of your overall health. Health checks are performed by specialists to help you gain a better understanding of your physical and mental wellbeing.

Health checks often focus on preventative health. They are performed to detect problems in their early stages, as well as risk factors for certain conditions that might run in your family. Health checks can also detect more advanced health problems that haven't yet been discovered, helping you get diagnosed and find the right treatment fast.

The type of specialist who performs your health check will depend on the type of assessment you have. At Lincoln Hospital, we offer a range of different health assessments to help people in different circumstances. All our health assessments help you to monitor your health and, should any problems be identified in your results, you'll get fast access to expert treatment and advice from the right specialist for you.
