At Kings Oak Hospital, our imaging department offers fast and direct access to a wide range of diagnostics services using the most advanced techniques and specialised equipment. The centre is staffed by experienced radiographers and specialist nurses, and appointments are typically available within 24 hours. For those with immediate needs, urgent reports are available and faxed to your referring clinician on the same day.
As well as onsite facilities at Kings Oak, our patients can also access imaging services at our sister hospital, Cavell, located nearby in Enfield.
Our imaging department is open Monday-Friday from 8am-9pm.

The mammography unit is staffed by fully accredited radiographers and offers general mammography as well as more specialised views. The machine is outfitted for digital stereotactic localisation to aid biopsy and fine needle aspiration of soft tissue lesions. Our consultant radiologists performing these techniques are specialists in this field.
We are the only Independent Sector Hospital in North London that can offer a Vacuum Assisted Biopsy (Mammotome) to patients, along with the use of a Faxitron allowing effective patient diagnostics.
An MRI (magnetic resonance imaging) scan is a type of medical imaging that uses a strong magnetic field and radio waves to produce detailed pictures of the inside of your body.
