Approved by NICE in 2023 for use in specialist weight management services, Wegovy is a weekly injection that mimics a natural hormone to reduce appetite and calorie intake. When combined with diet and physical activity, studies show average weight loss of up to 15% of body weight over 68 weeks.

Mounjaro (tirzepatide)
Mounjaro is a newer treatment approved for type 2 diabetes, but also shown to support significant weight loss in individuals with obesity. It works by mimicking two appetite-regulating hormones (GLP-1 and GIP), helping to lower hunger levels and improve glucose control.
Who it may be suitable for:
As with all drugs, there are potential side-effects. The most common side-effects are feeling or being sick, or diarrhoea. Rarer, but more serious problems have been recorded, and include inflammation of the pancreas, gall bladder disease, and kidney problems. Medication suitability and side effects will be fully explained in detail during your consultation with our team, and they will monitor you carefully throughout the package.
