About us

Beaumont Hospital first opened its doors to patients in 1983 and has provided elective care for patients in Bolton, Wigan, Manchester, Leigh, Chorley and surrounding areas ever since. We serve private insured, self-funding and NHS patients.

We pride ourselves on delivering the best patient experience possible, by giving our staff the skills and the tools they need to do this.  Our patients tell us that we achieve this through the feedback they provide on social platforms such as Google Reviews, where we are the highest rated amongst our competitors.

Our wide-ranging diagnostic, medical and surgical specialties include: diagnostic MRI, CT and Ultrasound scans, and X-Rays, orthopaedics, gynaecology, general surgery, urology,  ear nose and throat (ENT), vascular, pain management, oral surgery, gastroenterology, plastic surgery and dermatology.  In addition we have a team of highly qualified physiotherapists. They support our wide range of services and accept direct private patient referrals.

The hospital has 20 individual bedrooms, and ambulatory care facilities, and all rooms have en-suite facilities, wi-fi and  satellite TV.

All of our patients benefit from having their consultations directly with the consultant of their choice. Consultants have to complete a rigorous onboarding process to ensure that they can meet the expectation of Circle Health Group and the patients we serve.  Through this approach we attract some of the foremost clinical practitioners in their given areas of expertise.

Patients that require surgery are screened by our dedicated multi-disciplinary pre-assessment team, to make sure that we can treat and look after them safely.

We have a resident RMO (registered medical orderly), an onsite pharmacy, and are JAG accredited for endoscopy services.

If you are looking for elective care provided by, competent, professional and caring staff in a hygienic and safe environment, you need look no further.

We also have a resident medical officer (RMO) who is available 24 hours a day to ensure that patients are safe and cared for at all times. Should your care needs change following surgery or treatment, we may need to transfer you to another hospital. This will either be to an NHS or another Circle hospital. Transfers of care only take place when absolutely necessary.
