Our expert team of neurophysiologists provides a range of specialised tests and procedures aimed at understanding the function of the nervous system.

What is Neurophysiology?
Neurophysiology is a medical discipline that focuses on the study of the electrical activity in the nervous system. It involves testing the function of the brain, spinal cord, and nerves using advanced diagnostic techniques to assess conditions affecting the nervous system.
Our Services:
We provide a wide range of neurophysiological tests to help diagnose and manage neurological conditions, including:
  • EEG (Electroencephalogram): A test that records electrical activity in the brain, often used to diagnose conditions such as epilepsy, sleep disorders, and other neurological conditions.
  • EMG (Electromyography): This test measures the electrical activity in muscles and can help diagnose muscle disorders, nerve problems, or conditions like carpal tunnel syndrome.
  • Nerve Conduction Studies (NCS): This procedure measures how well electrical signals move through nerves and can help identify peripheral nerve damage or dysfunction, such as in conditions like diabetic neuropathy or nerve compression.
  • Evoked Potentials (EP) These are recordings of the electrical signals produced naturally by your brain in response to stimulation of the eyes, or the nerves in your arms and/or legs. Studies are most commonly used to help in the diagnosis of Multiple Sclerosis or Optic Neuritis.
