Inverness Outpatient Centre

Private outpatient consultations for people living in the Highland areas of Scotland.

The Inverness Outpatient Centre opened in January 2025 as an extension of our Albyn Hospital services. This clinic offers the convenience of private consultations without the necessity of travelling to Aberdeen. Patients of Inverness Outpatient Centre can also benefit of having their post -operative reviews with the nursing team and follow-up appointments  in Inverness.

Based within the Emma J Aesthetics, at 6 Ardross Terrace, Inverness, the clinic provides consultations in several specialisms, including orthopaedic medicine (bone and joint health), pain management, general and colorectal surgery and plastic surgery. These consultations are delivered by consultants from Scotland, all of whom are highly skilled and specialised in their fields.

If it is decided you need diagnostic imaging or surgery following your consultation, you will attend our Albyn Hospital in Aberdeen and undergo treatment under the care of the same consultant from our Inverness Outpatient Centre. Patients under the care of Mr Raymond Oliphant, Consultant and General Surgeon, are an exception; their diagnostic tests and surgeries will take place at Ross Hall Hospital in Glasgow. 

At both Albyn Hospital and Ross Hall Hospital, the consultants are supported by an experienced and dedicated multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals and administration staff to provide you with the highest level of care in a friendly and comfortable environment.

You can access our services through private medical insurance or by self-paying.

Referrals from GPs and physiotherapists are welcome, with referrals processed through Albyn Hospital.
