An overview of HealthFirst
We explain what you need to know about HealthFirst and how it could benefit your business.
What is HealthFirst?
How could HealthFirst help look after the health of your employees?
As employers we're responsible for our employees, not least in ensuring our environment and working conditions are safe to work in, but also ensuring that our employees' health and safety is cared for too.So if we can help our employees by offering them affordable and regular health checks, then we know we're going the extra mile.
This is good for our company as well as our employees, and with Circle Health Group's HealthFirst service, it's now easier than ever.
But it's not just employees that can benefit from this scheme. HealthFirst is open to individuals as well, so if you're a one-person business, self-employed, retired, or just someone looking for a way to get a full health check, we're ready and waiting for you.

By doing so, HealthFirst can help significantly boost productivity and performance whilst reducing absenteeism.
We care for organisations by assessing, improving and maintaining the health of employees and our services can support the mental and physical wellbeing of your employees to help establish a thriving and flourishing workforce.
The service offers employees health assessments, advice, treatment, and support, to help maintain positive working relationships and high performance in the workplace.
We understand the need for solutions that meet the needs of people with different lifestyles and healthcare concerns and our ultimate aim is to reduce the risk of common preventable illnesses.
What’s more, we understand that health is not just the absence of disease, but much more a complete state of physical, mental, and social wellbeing.
Our Essential Health Assessment shows you where you are right now, quickly and conveniently, from an experienced nurse or health advisor. It’s geared towards the young and young-at-heart, before hectic lifestyles start taking their toll.
As well as your vitals, we’ll conduct tests that assess your overall health and wellbeing, identifying easy changes you can make to your diet and exercise.
We’ve also built in time to look at some things we often put aside for another day, such as:
Length of assessment: Up to one hour with a health advisor or nurse.
What's included with your Essential Health Assessment
Our Select Health Assessment is ideal for those settling into the comfortable rhythm of family life – when you’ve a lot to juggle in your life and planning for the future is always on your to-do list.
This timely ‘body MOT’ will help you stay one step ahead of your health status. It includes an in-depth, two-stage consultation with both a doctor and a nurse or health advisor, to give you a rounded picture.
You’ll come away with a personalised medical report approved by a GP, who, as well as checking your vitals and looking at your lifestyle, will discuss your general health and physical condition, including your heart, circulation, and major organs.
Time is also built in to discuss anything that’s niggling you, like aches and pains, as well as things that often become bigger concerns as we age, like testicular and prostate cancers in men, and breast and gynaecological cancers in women.
Length of assessment: Up to one hour including doctor consultations.
What's included with your Select Health Assessment
Our Advanced Health Assessment is an in-depth look at your health and wellbeing, including your heart and lung function, and comprehensive blood tests for your calcium, liver and kidneys.
It’s completed in just a couple of hours and is ideal if you’re starting to feel the effects of a life lived to the fullest.
You’ll be seen by both a doctor and a nurse or health advisor. They’ll check your vitals, discuss your diet and lifestyle, offer time to talk about your emotional health, and conduct a comprehensive string of tests, including a look at your cardiovascular and nervous systems.
There’s also a head-to-toe physical exam – including inspections for possible cancer risks, like moles and lumps, the things you may not notice over time – and time built in to talk about niggling aches and pains too.
Length of assessment: Up to two hours including doctor consultations.
What's included with your Advanced Health Assessment
Our Advanced Plus Health Assessment is conducted with a doctor and a nurse or health advisor and covers everything from your physical health – basic things like blood pressure and aches and pains – to your emotional wellbeing, diet and lifestyle. It also includes a head to toe physical exam, and a look at your cardiovascular and nervous system too.
Included with the tests is a comprehensive blood analysis to detect illness and possible disease in your thyroid, liver and kidneys. All of our blood tests are analysed in our validated labs.
This assessment also includes an exercise ECG to test your heart's ability to cope with exercise and stress, reported on by a cardiologist.
Length of assessment: Up to three hours including doctor consultations and a cardiovascular exercise test.
