About Mr Vineet Trivedi

Personal Profile

Mr Vineet Trivedi is a Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon at Meriden Hospital in Coventry and George Eliot Hospital NHS Trust, specialising in lower limb arthroplasty, with a particular focus on soft tissue and revision knee surgery.

With more than 20 years of experience in orthopaedics both in the UK and overseas, Mr Trivedi is recognised for his commitment to providing individualised, high-quality patient care with an emphasis on safety, innovation, and long-term outcomes.

Mr Trivedi completed his orthopaedic training and several prestigious clinical fellowships, including the Royal College–endorsed Sport Hip & Knee and Lower Limb Arthroplasty Fellowship at Ashford & St Peter’s Hospital. He also trained at the Royal Orthopaedic Hospital in Birmingham, one of the UK’s leading and busiest arthroplasty centres, where he gained extensive experience in complex hip and knee replacements. These experiences have shaped his expertise in primary and revision joint replacement, as well as advanced soft tissue reconstruction techniques.

In addition to his clinical work, Mr Trivedi has a strong passion for medical education. He is an examiner at Warwick Medical School, a tutor at Leicester Medical School, and frequently teaches on national FRCS courses. He has mentored numerous medical students and trainee surgeons, offering hands-on and academic teaching, and has been invited to deliver lectures at regional and national conferences.

Mr Trivedi is also an active researcher, with multiple peer-reviewed publications and conference presentations in areas such as arthroplasty outcomes, trauma management, and surgical innovation. His involvement in national studies, including the WHITE10 trial, highlights his ongoing commitment to evidence-based practice and improving surgical care.

Beyond the operating theatre, Mr Trivedi has played a leadership role in quality improvement and clinical governance. He has led projects aimed at improving theatre efficiency, reducing readmissions, and enhancing postoperative care, directly contributing to improved patient experiences within the NHS.

His dedication and excellence have been recognised through several professional awards and honours for both his clinical and academic achievements.

Outside of medicine, Mr Trivedi actively promotes health and wellbeing through community initiatives, including organising charity yoga workshops that support holistic approaches to recovery and lifestyle balance.

At Meriden Hospital, Mr Trivedi offers consultations and treatment for a wide range of hip and knee conditions, combining surgical precision with a compassionate, patient-first approach.
