Dr Vineet Prakash is a dual-accredited Consultant in Radiology and Nuclear Medicine.

 

Training and Appointment

He completed his undergraduate degree at the University of Leeds Medical School and then went on to complete his medical training at University College London Hospital.

Dr Prakash has extensive professional expertise in reporting Oncological and non-Oncological PET-CT scan results since 2004. His PET-CT areas of interest are prostate cancer, lung cancer, breast cancer, head and neck cancer and lymphoma.

 

Current Practice

Dr Prakash's general nuclear medicine imaging expertise includes MUGA scans, renal scintigraphy, bone scans, DaTSCANS, HIDA and SeHCAT examinations. His NHS practice is at Royal Surrey County Hospital in Guildford.

He sits on the council of the British Nuclear Medicine Society and is actively involved in research and education in the field of Hybrid Nuclear Medicine Imaging.
