Mr Santhanam is a highly experienced Consultant Oral, Maxillofacial and Facial Plastic Surgeon, dually qualified in Medicine and Dentistry. He is the Surgical Director for ENT, Plastic Surgery, Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery and Vascular Surgery at Cambridge University Hospitals.
He specialises in the full range of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery with specific focus on facial trauma, facial deformity surgery (Orthognathic surgery including treatment for sleep apnoea), jaw joint surgery, salivary gland surgery, dental implants, facial cosmetic and reconstructive procedures and skin cancer surgery.
His approach is centred on compassion, clarity and respect. He takes time to understand each person’s concerns and goals, ensuring they feel informed and supported throughout their care.
