About Miss Vidya Tamhankar

Personal Profile

Miss Tamhankar is a Consultant Gynaecologist with special interest in reproductive medicine and surgery. She completed her specialty training in Obstetrics & Gynaecology from the South Yorkshire region.

She completed a fellowship in Assisted Conception & IVF from Jessop Fertility. In addition, she spent 2 years studying the impact of emotional health on success of IVF, which led to the award of MD degree by the University of Sheffield. She is an Honorary Lecturer at the University of Sheffield and has actively been involved in training medical students and junior doctors.

Miss Tamhankar offers and plans investigations for the assessment of infertility. She specialises in laparoscopic and hysteroscopic procedures for improvement of fertility. She also provides bespoke individualised treatment plans for couples depending on the specific causes of infertility, and assisted conception treatment on a joint-care basis with Jessop Fertility.
