In addition to his clinical work, Dr Ahmed is committed to teaching and leadership. He lectures and delivers teaching sessions on acute care decision-making, sepsis, diagnostic reasoning, clinical safety, and complex medical presentations. He is a senior clinical teacher at Imperial College School of Medicine and has led several quality-improvement and service-development programmes aimed at enhancing patient experience and improving the efficiency of acute medical services.
