Following his Higher Surgical Training as a Specialist Registrar in ENT and Head & Neck Surgery in West Midlands, he visited internationally reputed departments of Stanford University hospital, USA, to observe advanced Ear Surgery and to Klinik Hirslanden, Zurich, Switzerland, to observe advanced Endoscopic Sinus Surgery. This has not only widened his skills in ENT but has also improved his understanding of the differences in the provision of healthcare in different parts of the world.
Mr. Kale specialises in a wide range of ear, nose, throat and head & neck disorders in Adults and Children. He specialises in surgical procedures including endoscopic ear surgery, ear and mastoid surgery, endoscopic sinus surgery in addition to General ENT and Head & Neck surgical procedures.
Whilst doing a Master’s in Medical Ethics and Law at Keele University, Mr. Kale wrote a thesis on informed consent. He has published research in the fields of ENT Surgery as well as Ethics and Law. Mr. Kale has been appointed by the Royal College of Surgeons of England as an Examiner for ENT, Head and Neck examination.
During his career, Mr. Kale has also been appointed to and held several reputed senior posts including those of Surgical/College Tutor, Clinical Director, Clinical Director for Specialist Surgery, and Senior Academy Tutor. He has been appointed to and currently holds the post of Associate Head of Academy for Undergraduate Medical Education. He has also been appointed to and currently holds the post of Clinical Tutor for International Training Fellows for postgraduate training. He enjoys giving back by teaching and training postgraduate doctors in ENT Surgery and undergraduate medical students.
Mr. Kale has been actively involved in several charitable events with the objective of fundraising for various organisations to aid their services as well as for the development of research in healthcare. During these events, Mr. Kale has completed several full Marathon walks as well as multiple long cycle rides.
In his spare time, Mr. Kale enjoys the outdoors, whether it be going on walks or cycle rides in the countryside or tending to his garden. He appreciates learning about horticulture and expanding his knowledge.
