Mr Nedas has been a consultant Urological surgeon since 2012 and has been practicing privately in Hampshire since 2013. Mr Nedas sees both male and female patients in the NHS and private sector. Mr Nedas offers consultations for urological problems such as raised PSA, BPH, frequency, frequent UTI’s, scrotal and foreskin issues, he has a particular interest and subspecialises in the management of Kidney stone disease for which he offers surgical options as well as preventative measures. He sees patients in both Basingstoke and Winchester.
Alongside his medical degree, Mr Nedas’s qualifications also include a Bachelor of Science in Molecular medicine (the study of the molecular and genetic basis of cancer) from Guys' and St. Thomas's Hospitals. As a Senior House Officer, Mr Nedas earned a masters in Urology with a distinction for his thesis and the Geoffrey Chisholm Gold Medal for overall performance. His postgraduate training in Urology also included a dedicated year of Paediatric Urology at Great Ormond Street Hospital.
Outside of his clinical work Mr Nedas is a trustee of the North Hampshire Medical Fund, a charity with the aim of raising money for advanced medical equipment for North Hampshire hospital. From 2020 to 2023 he was the Regional director for the Royal College of Surgeons in the South Central Region.
Having grown up in London, Mr Nedas now lives in Hampshire with his wife and young children. His hobbies include cooking, running and more recently gardening. Mr Nedas has completed four marathons, a half ironman event, cycled three stages of the Tour de France in 2015 and cycled from Hampshire to the annual BAUS (British Association of Urological Surgeons) conference in Liverpool in 2018.
