About Mr Tariq Tassadaq

Personal Profile

Mr Tariq Tassadaq completed his higher surgical training at the Institute of Urology, UCLH London and then took up the substantive consultant appointment at the mid Essex NHS trust, Essex UK in 1997. He has a comprehensive training in general urology and received further training in urological laparoscopy, uro oncology, reconstructive urology, andrology, pediatric urology and the comprehensive management of urinary tract  stone disease.

Mr Tassadaq has been actively involved with teaching of undergraduates as well as post graduates throughout his career.

Presently, he has been running regular training and teaching workshops in various parts of Africa and Asia. 

Clinical Interests

  • Reconstructive Urology including repair of urethral stricture disease
  • Uro oncology including management of bladder cancer , prostate cancer and kidney cancer ( radical and partial nephrectomies)
  • Laparoscopic urology, a full spectrum of urinary tract stone disease and andrology including vasectomy reversals, micro TESA and microscopic varicocele repair.
