Mr Stewart Disu is a laparoscopic surgeon and a Consultant Obstetrician & Gynaecologist at Northwest London Hospitals NHS Trust and The Clementine Churchill Hospital. He has a special interest in Emergency Gynaecology as well as Minimal Access Surgery. He is an accredited endometriosis surgeon and co-leads a National Endometriosis Centre. He has also been a qualified colposcopist since 2006. Mr Disu completed his post graduate training in advanced laparoscopic surgery at Imperial Healthcare Trust in London in 2011.
He is also Robotic surgeon accredited by intuitive Surgical and completed his robotic training in Strasburg, France.
He offers the following range of treatment such as: Laparoscopic treatment to fibroids specifically laparoscopic myomectomies, laparoscopic hysterorectomy, Laprascopic fertility surgery, including tubar surgery as well as ovarian drilling. He also performs Laparoscopic removal of cysts with ovarian conservation Laparoscopic resection of endometriosis for chronic pelvic pain. He also performs pelvic floor repair including anterior and posterior colporrhaphy.
Additionally, he offers hysteroscopic surgery for infertility and fibroids or polyps which may contribute to infertility or heavy menstrual bleeding, as well as Gynaecological scanning and counselling on fertility potential Early pregnancy scans within the 1st trimester to rule out miscarriage or identify an ectopic pregnancy.
