Stephen graduated from the University of Brighton in 1998 and began his career at the Royal Free Hospital, gaining valuable experience in a wide range of physiotherapy disciplines. During this time, he combined his passion for rehabilitation with sports, serving as the Sports Physiotherapist for the Harringay Greyhounds Ice Hockey Team.
In 2000, he became a Senior Physiotherapist at St Richard’s Hospital, where he played a key role in A&E physiotherapy, rehabilitation for older adults, and discharge planning. Committed to professional growth, Stephen pursued a Master’s degree in Gerontological Rehabilitation, further deepening his expertise in rehabilitation for older people.
From 2006 to 2017, he worked as a Clinical Specialist Physiotherapist at St George’s Hospital, where he contributed to pioneering physiotherapy services and became an advisor to the Department of Health on rehabilitation strategies for older patients. Recognizing the value of mentorship and leadership in healthcare, he achieved a Level 7 Diploma in Executive Coaching and Mentorship in 2012.
Stephen joined Goring Hall Hospital in 2017 and, through his dedication and leadership, became the Lead Physiotherapist in 2022. He continues to be actively involved in professional training, mentorship, and continuous learning, ensuring the highest standard of care for his patients.
