About Dr Sophie Cheshire

Personal Profile

Dr Cheshire completed her undergraduate medical degree at the University of Birmingham and moved back to the North West to complete foundation training in Manchester. She began Radiology training in  the region in 2016 and has a subspecialist interest in gastrointestinal imaging (GI) specialising in colorectal and small bowel pathologies. Dr Cheshire is one of the few reporters of CT colonography at Royal Blackburn Hospital. Dr Cheshire also has an active role in training and is the GI lead for the North West School of Radiology programme and Clinical Lecturer at Edge Hill University.
