Ms Sarkar works closely with multidisciplinary teams, including specialist nurses, radiologists, oncologists and anaesthetists and is a core member of The Royal Berkshire Urological Cancer MDT. Where appropriate, she coordinates care with other consultants to ensure patients receive the most appropriate expertise for their condition.

Ms Sarkar completed her medical degree in 2007 from University of Birmingham and specialist urology training in the North East and Kent, Surrey, Sussex Deaneries. She was appointed as a Consultant Urological Surgeon in 2023 at The Royal Berkshire Hospital in Reading and continues to maintain full General Medical Council registration. She remains actively involved in continuing professional development. Her NHS role includes Clinical Governance Lead for Urology, Educational Supervisor for resident doctors and Trust Appraiser. She is involved in the teaching and training of resident doctors and healthcare professionals, contributing to the development of future urologists.
Ms Sarkar is recognised for her thoughtful clinical judgement and patient-focused care. Her NHS practice is well regarded, and she works in line with national and local clinical guidelines.
