About Simon Watts

Personal Profile

Mr Simon Watts specialises in most general ear, nose and throat (ENT) conditions such as tonsil surgery, glue ear, sinus conditions, and snoring. He also has a special interest in advance nose surgery and facial plastic and reconstructive surgery.

Mr Watts is particularly specialised in nose, sinus surgery, as well as non-surgical cosmetic treatment such as Botox, fillers and tissue tightening. 

Mr Watts trained in Johannesburg, South Africa and underwent 6 years of specialist ENT training in the North East of England in 2002 during this time he was awarded the Joseph Fellowship in Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery. He also spent 6 months training in European centres of excellence in Amsterdam, Munich and Stuttgart before passing the American Board Exams for Facial Plastic and Reconstructive surgery.

After Mr Watts was appointed to an ENT Consultant post in Brighton and Worthing in 2003, He went on to establish himself as a sub-specialist in Rhinology and Facial Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery.

Mr Watts conducts research within these spheres of practice to support his practice. He has been appointed as an Honorary Senior Lecturer at the Brighton and Sussex Medical School to oversee the teaching and curriculum development of undergraduate ENT / Facial Plastics at BSMS.

Mr Watts is a member of on the Facial Plastic Surgery Board of ENT-UK. He is helping to establish and develop the new British Facial Plastic Surgery Society. This has resulted in him being appointed to a new role on the Cosmetic Surgery Interspecialty Committee based at the Royal College of Surgeons of England. His role there is to help improve and maintain standards for training and certification in facial plastic surgery throughout the UK.
