About Mr Simon Ellenbogen

Mr Ellenbogen has been a Consultant Surgeon since 1993. He specialises in breast, thyroid and laparoscopic surgery. He has a wealth of emergency and specialist surgical experience in both elective and emergency surgery.

He is also the Consultant Surgeon at The Nightingale Breast Unit Wythenshaw Hospital. Mr Ellenbogen was a Lecturer in Surgery at the University of Liverpool and the Royal Marsden Hospital, where he received the Moynihan medal for his research.

His NHS base is Tameside Acute Foundation Trust, where he is currently the Clinical Director for elective services and surgical tutor.
