About Mr Sherif Habashi

Personal Profile

Sherif Habashi studied Medical Sciences at St Catharine's College, Cambridge before completing his clinical studies at Guy's Hospital in London, qualifying in 1984. His postgraduate training included appointments in Plastic Surgery at Mount Vernon Hospital, Neurosurgery at The Brook Hospital and General Surgery at The Royal Marsden as well as ENT posts in High Wycombe, The Royal National Throat, Nose and Ear Hospital London, Manchester and  Preston.

He undertook a 12 month Clinical Fellowship in Auckland, New Zealand specialising in Paediatric ENT and Otology before being appointed Consultant ENT/Head and Neck Surgeon at Chase Farm Hospital, Enfield in 1994.

He was Head of Department, Consultant Appraiser and Clinical Governance Lead. He was also a BMA Representative on the Local Negotiating Committee of Barnet and Chase Farm Hospitals NHS Trust as well as the ENT representative on the Medical Advisory Committee for The King’s Oak and Cavell Hospitals for many years.

He was an Invited faculty member on The Merseyside Ear Surgery Course, an annual international live surgery course. He was a council member on The Section of Otology at The Royal Society of Medicine.

Since retiring from the NHS he has continued to provide a first class comprehensive paediatric and adult ENT service at The Kings Oak Hospital as evidenced by his excellent levels of patient (and parent) satisfaction.
