Miss Shailly Sahu Bhansali is a Consultant Gynaecologist, who completed her training in 2001 at The King Edward Memorial Hospital, Mumbai, India and further trained at The East Midlands Deanery in the UK.
Miss Bhansali is a consultant at Chesterfield Royal Hospital NHS trust and has been since 2017.
She is hysteroscopy and colposcopy lead at Chesterfield Royal Hospital.
Miss Bhansali’s interests are menstrual disorders, endometriosis, polycystic ovarian syndrome and other hormonal disorders.
She also provides service for cervical smears, and is also a benign gynaecologist and happy to offer investigation and treatment for prolapse and vulval conditions.
Miss Bhansali is actively involved in teaching and training. She is also a GMC associate and PLAB examiner.
Miss Bhansali also examines for MRCOG conducted by RCOG and has been involved in speciality recruitment.
