Mr Shahzad Sadiq specialises exclusively in hip and knee replacement surgery. His data which is recorded in National Joint Registry shows that he has performed more than 1000 hip replacements and more than 500 knee replacement surgery in last 10 years. He has specialist interest in dealing with periprosthetic fracture surgery around hip and knee implants and has performed more than 150 such operations in last 15 years since his appointment at Worcestershire Royal Hospital.
Mr Sadiq believe in strict self-audit to improve his practise and his data and results are available from National Joint Registry. He is committed to delivering surgical excellence and maintains a close contact with the patient in follow up to make sure recovery and after care meets patient expectation and is of high standard.
Mr Sadiq uses implants with best results and highest safety records which is the first most priority and implants are well documented 10 and 13 A* ODEP Ratings.

Mr Sadiq also specialise in dealing with fractures around the ankle, wrist, clavicle and long bone fractures around femur and tibial. He specialises in dealing with non-union of tibial and femoral fractures and failed hip fracture surgery. Mr Sadiq has published his outcome data in peer reviewed journals and listed his papers research section.
Specialist Training:
Mr Shahzad Sadiq completed his specialist orthopaedic training in Manchester and London. He has extensive experience in treatment of complex trauma patients, in particular non-union of long bones. He did AO Trauma Fellowship in Canada.
MR Sadiq also had extensive training in lower limb joint arthroplasty and revision surgery in Wrightington and at Hammersmith Hospital, London. He has specialist training in both cemented and uncemented hip arthroplasty and use of uncemented long stems in revision arthroplasty surgery.
