Mr Chummun graduated in medicine in 2001 and began his surgical training soon after, becoming a Member of the Royal College of Surgeons of England and Edinburgh in 2006. He went on to complete specialist plastic surgery training across the UK and internationally, gaining experience at renowned centres in Edinburgh, Bristol, Exeter, Plymouth, Leeds, London, and the Australian Craniofacial Unit in Adelaide. Alongside his private practice, Mr Chummun is a Consultant Cleft and Plastic Surgeon at the South West Cleft Service (University Hospitals Bristol NHS Trust), where he manages patients with cleft lip and palate from across the region. He is the only plastic surgeon in the South West performing complex cleft rhinoplasty within the NHS and is among a small number of UK surgeons with expertise in revisional aesthetic and reconstructive rhinoplasty.
